-------------------------------------------------------- tlug note from gaijin@example.com (John Little) -------------------------------------------------------- I've been a tad behind with email because of the pressures of work (Yuk!), so I'm just getting up to speed on the latest meeting agenda. I'd like to come along and have a couple of proposals... First, if Joe has parking space available at his place, I could drive in from Atsugi and could offer a lift in to Blaine and Tim. Second, I could offer a machine with (I guess) enough disk space to take the demo applications... I have a Compaq ServerPro 486 based, tower system, complete with 1.2GB of disk on a Compaq "RAID" controller. The system is currently running Red Hat 4.1 with a 2.0.30 kernel. I can throw it in the back of the car and bring it in. If we can find a home for it, I'd like to offer this system as the TLUG's own machine. There's enough disk space to provide a reasonable amount of web space and a modest FTP tree if it were to be given a permanent home, or we could just use it as the TLUG "server" and cart it to the meetings as needed. Thoughts? -John- ----------------------------------------------------------------- a word from the sponsor will appear below ----------------------------------------------------------------- The TLUG mailing list is proudly sponsored by TWICS - Japan's First Public-Access Internet System.
