tlug: Launching programs from fvwm menus

--------------------------------------------------------
tlug note from Dennis McMurchy <denismcm@example.com>

  Hi,

For some reason that I don't understand at all, ImageMagick (that very
nice image manipulation program from Germany) just refuses to be
launched from a fvwm window manager menu. I'm sure I've got the entry
right:

        Exec "ImageMagick" exec /usr/X11R6/bin/display &

This is the same format that works for everything else, so why not
for this one? (I don't remember what else has had this problem, but
it seems to me there was something else).

Speaking of window managers, has anyone tried the AfterStep 1.0
window manager just released? It compiles and installs cleanly on
my Slackware 3.1 installation. I loathe the Windoze95 window frames,
but it does look interesting ( http://afterstep.edoc.com ).

Beautiful day down here in Kyushu-kundari...
