It's a text file that your system is writing for you to tell you
about program dumps and crashes. You can change your shell .xxxxrc
file to stop it if you want. You can also nuke it and it won't
result in the end of life as you know it. Or you can see what it
might tell you about the "segmentation faults," and other such
error messages you may have seen on the terminal.
