I've successfully installed the Grail WWW Browser on my SparcLinux
machine, using Python 1.3 and Tk 4.1 (despite the warnings that you
*must* use Tk 4.0).  You also need the NetPBM stuff and djpeg (from
the libgr-progs RPM) to display JPEGs.

It is pretty slow, but gives me a free graphical browser that doesn't
require Sun emulation and Sun libraries (which Netscape requires).
