Isn't this setting saying you can choose to trade latency against bandwidth?

So for an interactive SSH session you might want the opposite setting?

P.S. Nothing like the joy of thinking you may have just made a typo, but 
having to wait three seconds to find out... though I doubt in those 
situations that setting is going to be to blame.
