Could’ve sworn it had made it into 9, misremembered. I ended up with Sway / Waybar / Fuzzel to replace what my AwesomeWM setup did. > For me, it's either dwl for dwm, (buildable in Fedora, not in RHEL10, last I checked, with dwlb as the bar, (works in Fedora and FreeBSD), or labwc with waybar--again in Fedora or FreeBSD, though in RH and clones I can build labwc pretty easily now). I have a real basic waybar, just to show the time and open applications. I blush to admit that I've commented out most of it. Neither Fedora nor FreeBSD require Wayland, I just wanted to make sure I could use it if necessary. Totally anecdotal, but when I hook my laptop to the TV to watch stuff, Wayland gives a far smoother picture than what I get with X11. This holds for both FreeBSD and Fedora. -- Scott Robbins PGP keyID EB3467D6 ( 1B48 077D 66F6 9DB0 FDC2 A409 FA54 EB34 67D6 ) gpg --keyserver pgp.mit.edu --recv-keys EB3467D6
