-=-=-=- Announcement: January 2020 TLUG Technical Meeting -=-=-=-=- Meeting information Date: January 11, 2020 (Saturday) Time: 14:00~17:30 (doors open 13:55) Place: One Coin Meeting Room Akihabara Kanda Riverside Meeting Room Takigami Building 3F West 3-11-7 Iwamotocho, Chiyoda-ku 〒101-0032 Tokyo https://goo.gl/maps/GjYcgWh3jCQ2 Presentations: This month we have two speakers. ''dot-home for version-control of a users environment configuration'' - by Curt Sampsondot-home[1] lets you have version-controlled user environment configuration easily distributed amongst many different machines, with the ability to make changes anywhere and get them out to the other machines. It also lets you partition your configuration so that personal configuration doesn't end up on work machines and vice versa, yet common configuration is shared.1. https://github.com/dot-home/_dot-home About TLUG ---------- TLUG is a non-profit, non-political organization established in June of 1994 to exchange information on the use of Linux and Free Software Foundation tools. TLUG has an active mailing list, home page, and regular physical meetings. Discussions are primarily held in English, but non-English speakers are encouraged to come and participate. We especially want to encourage Japanese people to attend and will make efforts to support a bilingual meeting. TLUG generally hosts technical meetings every odd-numbered month on the 2nd Saturday, and a nomikai (social even at a pub) every even-numbered month on the 2nd Friday. The TLUG home page is available at http://www.tlug.jp If you get lost, or simply want to get in touch with us, please call: Edward............090-3689-0292
