Good luck!

HR doesn't "get" Linux in Japan; they can barely handle Word and
Excel. In Japan, "SE" (derived from "system engineer", originally)
means "sales engineer" with the emphasis on "sales": English majors
can get those jobs. So you won't find it openly advertised much.

I'm sure there are a lot of such jobs. You could register with a
headhunter, but that costs you a lot of money when you get a job.

Job-related posts are allowed here and self-introductions are more
than welcome -- if looking for a job is important to you, that's part
of your self-introduction. *Recruiters* should check with
tlug-owner@example.com first, is the main rule. For other mailing lists,
you should check with <list>-owner, first, or browse their archives to
see what others are doing.

Are you already in Japan? If so, attending TLUG meetings is a good
start. There are also many other clubs where English-speakers are
welcome and likely to run into potential employers, like HackerLab
(did I get that right?) and Tokyo PC Users.

 > Thank you.

Good luck to you!
