Just one: pay attention to alignment of the partitions on the SSD.
Ensuring that the distro is not extremely old when doing the par-
titioning as part of the installation should be enough, in enter-
prise world RHEL6 or RHEL7.
I have seen performance issues when aligment on SSDs was not in 
order.

There are tests around, showing write rates of some SSD going down
earlier than others from the same price range.  When buying, I would
pay attention to these.
As for reliability, havent heard bad stories so far.  They are de-
signed for certain amounts of data to be written.  Depending on the
market the SSD is aimed at, price, speed and expected amount of data
which can be written are different.
