Well, we don't know the quality of the Italian point of origin, so it's still something to be slightly wary about. I, for one, would very much like one of those bugged products. I always disassemble my imported (and otherwise, almost always) appliances anyway to, among other things, do a sanity check on the PCB layout prior to connecting it to the mains. A discovered bug wouldn't be a scandal, more like "oh look, I bought one gadget and got another gadget for free! How thoughtful!"
