Yeah, but if she's a geek, how 'bout the people who cloned her repo and
submitted pull requests?

By doing that can you either:

Update her info / requirement / etc, probably based on close acquaintance? 

or propose yourself as a boyfriend, by changing the docs to your info / requirements, and if she accepts she can merge the documents.
