Presentations:
1. Enterprise Provisioning and Configuration
Management of RHEL systems (by Glen Ogilvie)
Introduction to the goals and aims of provisioning
systems and managing the configuration of many RHEL
servers accross multiple enviroments from an
enterprise point of view. Following this, a brief
overview of how Red Hat Network Satellite and Puppet
can be combined to achieve these goals. Then taking
a deep technical dive into the steps a server might
go through to go from bare metal to having a web
application up and running, using these tools.
2. OSCON Report (by Masafumi Ohta)
Ohta-san attended the O'Reilly Open Source Conference
(OSCON 2012), that took place in Portland, OR, last
July. He also attended the Community Leadership Summit
(CLS12), the event started by Jono Bacon, the community
manager for the global Ubuntu community and author of
The Art of Community. In his talk, Ohta-san will summarize
the sessions he attended in these two events, talking
about how people are contributing to the Open Source
community, latest activities, and more.

All Linux users and supporters of open source code and free software
are invited to attend this Tokyo Linux Users Group (TLUG) meeting.
Membership is open to anyone. There are no membership dues or entrance
fees.
After the meeting, we will continue chatting over a few beers.
About TLUG

TLUG is a non-profit, non-political organization established in June
of 1994 to exchange information on the use of Linux and Free Software
Foundation tools. TLUG has an active mailing list, home page, and
regular physical meetings. Discussions are primarily held in English,
but non-English speakers are encouraged to come and participate.
We especially want to encourage Japanese people to attend and will make
efforts to support a bilingual meeting.
TLUG generally hosts technical meetings every odd-numbered month on the
2nd Saturday, and a nomikai (social even at a pub) every even-numbered
month on the 2nd Friday.
