Ditto regarding cheaper-than-I-thought, but I resisted the impulse buy
:-). Please let us know how you get on with it; I'd be especially
interested to hear if you end up wishing you'd gone for the next model up.

I wonder if I can use it to measure how much wattage the aircon is
using, when I leave it on at different temperatures. Ooh, it is starting
to feel like a School Summer Science Project (a sure-sign I've been in
Japan too long).
