PC Depot advertises that you can use an IO Data or Buffalo converter with a Buffalo USB disk to copy and save broadcasts like a video recorder, so I _assume_ that there is some programmability. I confess that all I have done is read the ads. I'd suggest stopping by and asking ... but I can't be held responsible for the quality of the answer.
