- Subject: [tlug] Firmware update breaks Flash player in Kubuntu
I knew enough to avoid "firmware updates" from Brand-W (after being badly burned) but still stupidly OKed a firmware update in Linux this morning - which resulted in breaking Flash playback. It plays, but in wild florescent colors, such as 90% screaming red/pink with trace amounts of other colors. Two questions: a) Has anyone else experienced this? b) Can the broken Firmware update be rolled back? The hardware is a 2006 IBM ThinkCentre box, and I'm running the most recent LTS version of Kubuntu. Lyle
