Hello Edward
First of all, I apologize for not keeping up with the mailing list
too much recently. I've had to leave Japan for a while to renew my
visa recently so I've been busy with that. Unfortunately this has
also had its effect on the development of my site. I was working on
a Zend Framework version and hoped to present that one while talking
about Zend itself a bit. This one is currently still in a very early
state of development and not ready to be talked about. Also I've
recently been wondering if it wouldn't be better to use a CMS
instead. The current version of my site was actually built in order
to have something online as quickly as possible so the code is
still pretty hackish.
I understand this is really close to the meeting and there don't
seem to be too many other speaker candidates so instead of
canceling, perhaps I could change the direction of the presentation
a bit. I imagine there must be some skilled web designers in TLUG
and several of them will be more experienced than me too. I could
present my current site, talk about how I did it for now, discuss
some future planned features and then ask for comments and
suggestions from TLUG. Does this sound acceptable for a
presentation?
