I'm not sure that it's a countable noun... I think you can do 100
reports or 100 hours of work, but 100 shitloads sounds peculiar.  ie
"fewer inches of rain" or "less rain", but "fewer rains" doesn't quite
work ("fewer rain storms" does, however).
