TLUG,I'm sure I asked about this before, but I can't find the original thread in the TLUG archives right now. Please forgive me for retreading some steps, and please feel free to point me to any advice in the original discussion if you can locate it.I have three machines. A desktop for work (Ubuntu), a laptop (Xubuntu), and a "media centre" computer that handles TV and videos and stuff (Mythbuntu).Sometimes I run programs via ssh from one computer to another. The most often one is to run Amarok on my media computer from my laptop or desktop. Thing is, when I do that, I have to start it from the command line and enter a password, like so:ssh -X media@example.com amarokappI'd really rather just set up icon shortcuts and not have to worry about passwords. From what I remember about when I asked before, this involves setting up passkeys on each machine, but I'm a little vague on the concept.I've forgotten enough that I'm not using the right search terms on Google, so if someone can nudge me in the right direction, that would be awesome. What is it I need to do to get my computers to all trust each other? -- Dave M G http://tlug.jp/mediawiki/index.php?title=User:Dave_M_G
