Haven't tried to write an ebuild, and still don't quite "get" what an
overlay is <sheepish> :-} I'm sure it's not a hard concept... I just
haven't had a need for it yet, so haven't looked into it. In this case,
it's not such a problem because I like Amarok a lot better than XMMS
(probably no surprise there). The player window is kinda crappier,
but I can live with that.

Actually, I have a HH keyboard, but never use it :-)

Actually, my post was a bit misleading, because I'm much more of a
keyboard jockey than the average, even (I'm sure) the average Linux
user... one of the reasons I use Kmail, e.g., is because of its high
kb-ability compared to some other clients. So that may be why I
prefer mousing on the music player... I already feel I've reached a
limit with all the other kb shortcuts I use for windowmanager (icewm),
email, konsole, etc., and don't want to add more for something
relatively minor.
