Thanks a lot for the Links! 
Some intermediate findings: 
1) The driver was developed for UOT-100 which is not available anymore. 
2) Browsing the code, it appears that it is not a complete driver, but a hack to get a stream from the device.
Anyway, may try to get one from yahoo auctions.
