If you're not sure what a Barcamp is then the wikipedia page is a good place to start: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barcamp Basically it's a 1-2 day unconference of workshops, discussions and talks. Everyone is encouraged to participate in some way. Topics are usually related to Linux, FOSS, web technologies, social networking and programming. For some reason barcamp often seems to be dominated by ruby-on-rails...
