[tlug] Digital Humanities Workshop/ Tokyo

My guess is that there are probably not a lot of people on this list who are working directly with Humanities texts and cultural databases in XML and so forth, but there is going to be a workshop on this topic at Todai from March 27-29. If you know anyone who is interested in this, please pass this along.

I know there is not much detail given here at this point, but the 27th will be mostly plenary type suggestion, demonstrating present works-in-projects. The 28th and 29th will consist of hands-on tutorials, primarily in the usage of TEI-XML, style sheets, and so forth.

Although this web site is mainly in Japanese, I believe most of the sessions will be conducted primarily in English.

Regards,

Chuck
