As far as contributions go, I should note that, last I checked, Japan
had the second largest contingent of NetBSD developers after the United
States. It was significantly ahead of any European country.

And, of course, some pretty large chunks of code came out of Japan. The
NetBSD IPv6 stack is KAME.
