Thanks for those extra instructions. The link to the eeePC development
page will be useful. I hadn't thought about it coming without gcc, libc, etc.
Do they take a lot of space to install?.
I'm a vi person mostly. I guess it comes with vim (not hard to install
if it doesn't.) I would expect to be using it for much if any development.
