[tlug] Mailing list software that can also be used as a forum

Hi!

Does anyone know of a mailing list software that can be used with a
web-interface for following and answering to threads as well?
Something like Google Groups which you can use as a forum but also be
able to follow and answer to threads via mail. Or like Nabble.com
which gives a  forum-like user interface for mailing lists. Or maybe
just the other way around - a forum-software that can be used with
mailing-list functions.
