The openprinting database recommends the Canon proprietary CAPT driver: http://www.linuxprinting.org/show_printer.cgi?recnum=Canon-LBP3000 which supports Linux: http://www.canon.com.au/products/printers/laser_printers_low_medium_volume/lbp3000.aspx There's a thread on the Ubuntu forums a few pages long: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=134937 Regards, Gernot
