Got me. Are we or aren't we?

I guess we should separate the arguments about, "is Google in some way
noticably better at software development than other average companies"
(I propose that it's not), and "is your typical non-technical manager
correct in sticking with Java or whatever and rejecting the trial and
possible adoption of new programming technologies."
