The tables are searched by the envelope sender address... Note well: this is using *envelope* sender, not the From: header. If you don't understand the difference between these two, that's the first thing you want to learn and master, because otherwise you're going to find yourself in a large, confusing mess when trying to change behaviour based on "sender".
