The way it was worded is highly distorted for the Open Source, and Free Software movements as a whole. However, I would have to say that GPLv3 does come darned close to matching his description. I think Stalman was on acid when he decided to support/push that monstrosity in favor of the older versions.




Sometimes to be the best of both worlds, you have to restrict freedom to protect it. The GPL 3 is doing very well so far.
