Yes i`ve these up and running . There is no problem.
ssh has no problem with logging in via LDAP.
Also i`ve Automount via LDAP up and running

This is nfs and nothing to do with su.
Just a bit extra of info

I`m narrowing it down to pam.d directory 
I think that is su and will play around with it 
if i get a solution ,i`ll email back
