It did just occur to me though, that technically that kind
of behavior is required in one form or another by the license.

There is a section that states that all source files should
display the copy right notice in some way, and that all
Interactive programs should if possible display the message
when they start.  It makes provisions for cases where it
is not possible, but even then, they are only slightly less
naggy.  I think the BSD/X11 license looks more and more
palatable every time I think about it.  :P  It can be
summed up as "If your computer explodes, we didn't do it.
Pass this info on to a friend!"
