I don't usually bother with that. If I'm only interested in one PGC on the DVD then I don't create a VMGM. No VMGM means that the DVD player must simply start playing the first PGC it finds. So, you shove the DVD into the player and lo and be hold, the movie starts with no further intervention on your part.
Yeah, I have my menu time out at 30 seconds and play the first PGC, but I like the ability to select extra features and trailers from the menu without having to go track- and chapter-hopping.
