Thanks for replying.

It may seem daunting at first but it isn't that bad. Proceed with
google, trial and error. Once you've got it down pat you'll wonder what
all the fuss was about.


I'm sure a neurosurgeon or rocket scientist could say the same thing once they've done their first operation or launched their first rocket.

With cryptic tutorials on the net with phrases like "enable SMTP AUTH for Postfix", as if that is supposed to be a self standing instruction, this is beyond both my ability and the scope of my endeavors. I'm just trying to get PHP to send an email, not become an sendmail protocol administrator.

Thank you for your words of advice, it's appreciated.

But if it comes down to me indefinite days of my development time trying to wrap my head around the deepest of obscure terminology, then I'll just upload my scripts to a working server and test there.
