All the discussions around pro/vs GPL seem to revolve around this: do companies have the option to do as they like or not ?
Is it possible to see code as not a mere commodity for companies to make profit out of ?
So GPL projects miss out on lots of developers and users, and instead the functionality of that project has to be re-invented.
And when it is reinvented in GPL is ceases to run the risk of becoming a mere commodity.
There _are_ markets that do not revolve on economic profit...
