No, that's exactly the problem. You get the activists. But there are lots of developers who are Asperger's Syndrome types, and those guys generally don't answer. Because it's a "answer if you feel like it" situation, you get strong biases. It's like asking if "ain't" is a word on the English Teachers' List.
