According to this forum thread (http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=427714)
starting with Feisty, PPC is considered a community supported platform.
There are install cds for PPC, but they're hiding on another part of the
server.  It should also be possible to download an older version and
upgrade everything.
