Sorry, I've not had time to try this yet, but can you tell me why you
think this will fix my problem? It seems to be dealing with changing the
xserver-xorg-core package, which I would guess does not contain gdm (how
can I tell?), and certainly doesn't contain the X servers I've tried
(Xvnc from vnc4 and tightvnc on the Linux box, and just the tightvnc
version on my NetBSD box). Was there a protocol issue or something?
