Re: [tlug] Lost Japanese Input in OpenOffice
Wataru,
Thank you for replying.
You probably have to do this (replace the en_US with your locale if
different):
sudo apt-get install scim-qtimm
im-switch -z en_US -s scim
Hmm... tried this, but I'm getting errors I'm not sure what to do to fix
them:
Setting up scim-qtimm (0.9.4-0ubuntu5) ...
dave@??:~$ locale | grep LANG=
LANG=en_CA.UTF-8
dave@??:~$ im-switch -z en_CA -s scim
ln: creating symbolic link `/home/dave/.xinput.d/en_CA' to
`/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim': File exists
dave@??:~$ sudo im-switch -z en_CA -s scim
No system wide default defined just for locale en_CA .
Use "all_ALL" quasi-locale and set IM.
update-alternatives: Cannot find alternative `/etc/X11/xinit/xinput.d/scim'.
