My laptop (bought in November) has a core 2 duo and have not come
across any problems (besides - soundcard weirdness and the built-in
web cam). I'm currently running 2.6.19 kernel.
I have also noticed that the 2.6.20 kernal now has a "Core 2" an
option under processor family, and CPU temporature sensor supprt
specific to the Core 2s.
