What about allowing members to post questions/comments about the subject
before the meeting (preferable in a wiki;).  Things like could you
explain about ..., I am interested in ...  This could also be good for
presenters to gauge interest and work out the scope of their
presentations.  You could possible even have a staging area for future
presentations.
