That "tid=2&tid=25&tid=3" part of the URL looks suspicious, 
like info used to track viewers. Fortunately, a trimmed URL seems 
to work just fine: 

   http://os.newsforge.com/os/05/04/11/118211.shtml

Of course, one may craft other meaningless tracking cruft: 

   http://os.newsforge.com/os/05/04/11/118211.shtml?tid=20061109&tid=123456&tid=foo&tid=bar
