Before this list had any such thing as a Listmaster, it was self-policing, and remains largely such to this day. My primary function is to keep things from getting out of hand so that the list remains a place that people want to hang out. I do not think that this necessitates me to weigh in "officially" when Jim and Steve have covered the issue. I respect their opinions, and apparently others do as well, since no-one is leaping to defend your quoting. The bottom line is that no-one was attacking *you*, Lyle. They were simply pointing out that your post was problematic with respect to copyright law. -Josh
