Sorry for using GMail - I saw Jim's message on one computer but I
can't find it in my GMail account, so here goes from a saved version
of the message:
Re: [Jim] Also understand that not just HTML is in play. HTTP is also
involved. Feast your eyes on this:
wget -S -O /dev/null http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~LLLtrs/
Except for the URL, you'd better copy and paste that puppy.
Well - that's pretty cool! I get this:
wget -S -O /dev/null http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~LLLtrs/
--13:44:55-- http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~LLLtrs/
=> `/dev/null'

This raises a question - it shows that it was last modified on
December 13th, 2005. Where did that information come from?
Now... I just updated that page - today, January 24th, 2006 and yet
still (when I run that again), I get:
wget -S -O /dev/null http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~LLLtrs/
--14:01:35-- http://www5d.biglobe.ne.jp/~LLLtrs/
=> `/dev/null'

Now I'll try popping in the dates with no extra numbers....
Hmm.... no change. It still shows December 13th, 2005.
Re: [Jim] What research have you done about this?
http://www.w3.org/Home.html can help.
Okay, I'll go have a look now!
Thanks!
Lyle
