[tlug] linux HP/Compact UPS software

Are there any simple UPS programs that will work with HP T1000XR UPSs
(http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/proliantstorage/power-protection/towerups/xr-series/). 
I have looked at various open source daemons but they seem to be
exclusively for APC UPS's.  The sofware that comes with the UPS
(http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/proliantstorage/power-protection/software/power-manager/
PowerManagerRA) seems to be designed for remote administration and
includes a web interface and other features that are irrelivant to my
setup.  I am looking for a simple open source UPS daemon that will power
down the system, preferable something that can be setup with a couple of
configuration files.
