Charlie Lipton alerted Tokyo PC Users Group newsgroup readers that 
Opera is giving away free registrations for their browser/mail client/ 
news client TODAY as part of their 10th anniversary celebration. 
Registration removes the small ad bar at the top of the application 
window.

Opera is available for a lot of platforms, including Linux (i386, PPC, 
and Sparc), FreeBSD (i386), and Solaris.
