[tlug] disc woes

Hi all,
I have a space problem on a ext3 disc. I was downloading 2 large files
using bit-torrents, (4.4 Gb so you can guess what that is). I tried
mv'ing one of them but had to kill the mv. Now df tells me I have a 8.8G
dev, with 8.1G used and 0.2G available. Where is the missing 0.5 Gig?
