[tlug] Fixing Thinkpad for Linux

Hi All
I`ve a Thinkpad 1620 series where the monitor has
basically blackened out
When contact IBM , they request 5-70000 yen to get
it fixed(it has happen before , they needed to replace
video card)

As this is expensive and pc is not worth it , is there
any cheaper place that you recommend ?
