All I know of Latin is a few common snippets that one hears in Mass from time to time, such the Kyrei, Miserere Nobis, and and the first Latin verse of Adeste Fidelis. Bits and pieces of Gregorian chant (which I love!), that sort of thing. Like a number of other people on TLUG, Asian languages hold my linguistic interest, and it was my study of Japanese that was largely responsible for my moving to Japan. I was also always interested in Vietnamese, and that doubtless contributed to my marriage :-) I speak/understand a bit of it, heavily concentrated around baby-centric words. I can tell you various things a baby did or needs, but can't have any sort of adult conversation :-) Jonathan -- 99 pounds of natural born goodness 99 pounds of soul!
