That's actually what I was thinking of as well, however, I think the
text should be in both English and Japanese, if we can find a way to
fit it in.  I completely agree with your placement of text under the
Torii, that's perfect.

For the text, perhaps writing Tokyo only in Japanese, and putting
furigana above "Linux Users Group" would work.

What do you think?

Also, I like Tux in sihouette best, no samurai helmet or anything.
