uhm,
they don't use oracle software but Oracle's software development centre
in Beijing, which only means that oracle supports them in the effort (it
owns part of miracle linux)

they don't create a new kernel but will probably use identical versions
of it (the kernel is already the same (except for versions)). the common
core (which includes glibc and other things) is much more important for
interoperatæbility than the kernel. the common kernel is needed for
evaluation of stability or hardware support. apps usually don't see a
difference.
